Moving some sticky clay proved more of a headache than was envisaged for driver James Perry when the weight of it all became too much for the forklift.
James’s dad, Steve, was working behind a near by building when he got a phone call saying “can you come around – I’ve tipped the forklift over”.
Sprinting to the scene all he found was James standing next to the machine rubbing his forehead where he had hit the windscreen.
They pulled the back of the forklift down with another tractor and chain, lowering the bucket as they pulled so as to let it down gently.
Thanks to Steve and James who are based on the Essex/Herts boarder.
