National Farmers’ Union president Peter Kendall has received a resounding thumbs up from delegates at this year's NFU conference in Birmingham this week (26 and 27 February).
The event marks the first anniversary of Mr Kendall's time as NFU president.
Farmer’s Weekly’s business reporter Caroline Stocks went along to ask members if they were impressed with Mr Kendall’s work over the past 12 months.
The overriding asnwer was "yes", with most rating him eight or nine out of ten.
"He's in touch with the next generation," said one conference goer.
"He's shown British agriculture has a role to play in society," said another.
"He's doing a very good job. He's accessible, and he's listening," a third added.
