A new dual EID tag for sheep and goats aims to make tagging easier.
The Dual EID tag from Symtag contains links which connect the EID tag and visual tag together, making tagging easier, saving time and helping to avoid errors when trying to pair up loose tags.
The detachable joining link is strong enough to hold the tags together during handling, but separates quickly, so it does not risk snagging when on the animal's ear, explained the company's managing director, Alan Symonds.
