STIHL HAS extended its professional range of tools with the introduction of two new brush cutters.
The Stihl FS 480 and its smaller brother, the FS 480K use a 48.7cc engine fitted with electronic ignition for easy starting. The engine is capable of producing 3hp and 2.8Nm of torque.
Despite the high performance characteristics of the new models, the Stihl FS 480 and Stihl FS 480K are relatively compact weighing in at about 8kg.
The primary difference between the two machines is that the FS 480 K has a reduced shaft length for comfortable operation by shorter users.
Available from Stihl dealers nationwide, prices start from £679.00 (www.stihl.co.uk or 0800 137574)
