This operator hurtled down the road keen to get on with the job. Carrying too much pace into the turn forced the track-rod end to snap causing the driver to lose control.
A few belts from a heavy hammer soon straightened out the rim and spraying continued as normal, just lucky that the wheel didn’t dig into the ground and force the unit to topple over!
Many thanks to Edward Hodson who is currently studying a degree in Agricultural Engineering at Harper Adams for sending in the pics.
If you have any pics you wish to be published on our site send them (plus your details and a brief description of the situation) to fwmachinery@rbi.co.uk.
