June is set to be a busy time for auctioneers with a wide range of property going under the hammer.

Fisher German will be in action on 28 June at the Three Swans Hotel in Market Harborough.

The firm is selling almost 255 acres of land, formerly part of Manor Farm, Lubenham, on the edge of the town.

Setting a guide was difficult because it had development hope value, said agent Will Young.

"Agriculturally it is worth £3000-£4000/acre but it should go for more."

Mr Young is also selling Stackley House Farm at Great Glen, Leicestershire.

It includes 120 acres of pasture and buildings let under a second-succession traditional tenancy (£250,000), a three-bed cottage in need of modernisation (£160,000) and 61 acres of vacant possession Grade 3 arable land (£140,000).

A day later, 235-acre Manor Farm, East Bridgford, Notts, will be sold by JH Walter at Southwell racecourse.

The firm's Tim Atkinson has split the sale, which has a total guide of £1.8m, 14 ways.

A three-bed agriculturally tied house is guided at £450,000, while the adjoining one-acre yard, which has planning consent for light industrial use, is priced at £150,000.

Almost 80 acres of arable soil, is listed at £225,000.
