JCB's attempt to break the diesel land speed record is on track.
The DieselMax car - powered by a pair of JCB's own twin-turbocharged four-pot diesel engines - completed its final round of testing this week at RAF Wittering, Lincolnshire, and reached a top speed of 201mph on the 1.6-mile runway.

It is expected to top 300mph later this month on the Bonneville Salt Flats, Utah, USA. We will have a full trackside report from the event.
