Techneat Engineering has launched a new system to compact spray cans and plastic fertiliser bags.
Dubbed the “Bag Boxer” the unit compresses bags and spray cans in to a bale which is secured by an internal strapping device.
The system will also handle plastic silage sheeting and film.
The Bag Boxer is added to the firm’s Techneat ChipPE – designed to cut the volume of hard plastics – and provide growers with a complete plastics management system.
The Bag Boxer system costs £725.
