Brown & Co and JH Walter have joined forces to sell Stoke Fields Farm at Elston, near Newark, in Nottinghamshire.

The 584-acre arable farm includes a four-bed period house and is being sold by two brothers and their sister who are retiring from farming.

“It’s very good land that has grown potatoes and is mostly irrigated,” said Nigel Wild of Brown & Co. However, the land is also close to the village and Mr Wild has split the farm into 14 lots, including two telecoms masts, to appeal to amenity buyers.

There is also the potential to convert a range of buildings into three houses, added Mr Wild, who said the vendors were hoping to sell the farm for over £3.75m.
