When it comes to combine header selection, the choice has just
got a whole lot wider – literally.

After much
speculation about its arrival, Claas has
unveiled a 10.5m (35ft) version of its
Vario cutterbar which has a split reel and
auger with a support bearings at the centre.
Essentially developed to match the claimed 100t/hour capacity of
the firm’s
Lexion 600 combines, the big header has an
extending table to vary knife to auger clearance in tall crops
like other Vario cutterbars.
