Unlucky driver George Ashby came across quite a shock when he turned onto this main road in Romney Marsh, Kent. Heading towards him on his side of the road at approximately 90mph was this Toyota Avensis.

The result; one severely smashed up Toyota and one John Deere 6620 with only 50 hours on the clock with no front axle, smashed windows and the entire cab contents spread over the road (luckily not including the driver).

‘God knows how it didn't kill him but he walked away! Says George. If I was wearing weights it could have been a different story’

Remarkably the tractor was driven onto a low loader with just three wheels and transported back to the dealer’s yard.

The whole event took 2 hours to clear up. However traffic could still pass thanks to the cars position on the wrong side of the road
