Limousin bulls at today's Perth Bull Sales have struggled to match up to yesterday's Aberdeen Angus trade, with a top price so far of 6500gns for Messrs McLaren's February 2006-born entry, McLaren's Brogue. Carrying a beef value of 24, this one is by Ronick Viking and out of McLarens Useful.
The overall champion, Bruce Goldie's bull Goldies Banker, meanwhile sold for 5000gns to an Irish bidder. This one was by homebred sire Goldies Terence and out of French dam Rosabelle.
