This year's LAMMA show takes place at the Newark
Showground on 16 and 17 January. Andy Collings highlights some of
the new products that will be on display.
A record number of companies are expected to exhibit at LAMMA
2008. In fact the organisers have announced that, with 470
exhibitors signed up, the show is officially full. It's a situation
that many other agricultural shows would be envious of.
While the every-other-year Agritechnica event in Germany is
becoming the show of choice for those wanting to see the latest
European launches, for most UK farmers LAMMA provides the first
opportunity to see new introductions in the flesh.
Merlo
This will be the UK launch of the Merlo P55.9CS, a heavy-duty,
full-spec machine with 140hp engine, 5.5t lift capacity and lift
height of 8.6m. Cab suspension is fitted, as well as diff locks on
both axles, air-conditioning, roof wiper and rear hydraulic service
line.
