This year's LAMMA show takes place at the Newark Showground on 16 and 17 January. Andy Collings highlights some of the new products that will be on display.
A record number of companies are expected to exhibit at LAMMA 2008. In fact the organisers have announced that, with 470 exhibitors signed up, the show is officially full. It's a situation that many other agricultural shows would be envious of.
While the every-other-year Agritechnica event in Germany is becoming the show of choice for those wanting to see the latest European launches, for most UK farmers LAMMA provides the first opportunity to see new introductions in the flesh.
Bailey Trailers
Bailey Trailers will launch two fuel bowsers - a new development for the company which says it has recognised a need for such units now that self-propelled potato and beet harvesters are becoming more popular.
Two models will be on display - both of them are bunded and comply with UN IBC regulations - offering capacities of 950 litres and 2000 litres. Both versions have high speed running gear, the larger model having a twin-axle chassis and tanks that can be removed by forklift if required.
Provided as standard is a 12 volt, 40 litre/min pump which is secured by a locking top panel.
