If you want to know how to grow grass better - or are pondering the choice of equipment to mow, ted, chop, bale or ensile it - then make sure you come to Grassland and Muck 2008 on 21 and 22 May
Some subjects never go away, and finding the best way to grow grass (not to mention cut, store and feed it) is one of them. Grass variety choice? Fertiliser options? DIY or contractor? Clamp or bale? There's a lot to think about.
The single best way to get answers to these and other questions is to visit Grassland and Muck 2008, the UK's leading grass and forage event, which takes place on 21 and 22 May 2008 at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire.
It will cover 77ha (190 acre) in total, with 65ha (160 acres) of ready-to-cut grass and is expected to attract more than 12,000 livestock farmers and contractors.
Here's a taste of what's on offer:
Grassland and Muck 2008 is organised by the Royal Agricultural Society of England, in partnership with Yara UK, sponsored by Keenan and Agrovista in association with Farmers Weekly.
