Japanese manufacturer Kubota is to launch a new series of tractors at next month's Grassland & Muck event featuring a range of new features.
The M40 series offers four models in the 60-95hp range with prices starting from £23,000 and are available from the beginning of June.
The new series, which supersedes the established ME range, is clearly aimed at the livestock or mixed farmer. The 60hp M6040 base model is available with cab or roll-bar depending on buyer preference.
All models come equipped with Kubota's Tier-III-compliant E-CDIS range of diesel engines.
To ensure the tractors compete strongly in the market, Kubota has incorporated a new cab design with improved dashboard layout and included a number of standard features, such as air-conditioning, electronic four-wheel drive engagement, all-wheel braking and high-low splitter in each gear. A series of matched loaders and implements is also available.
The M6040, the 70hp M7040, 85hp M8540 and 95hp M9540 will be showcased on the Kubota stand (No. 205) along with the higher horsepower M125X tractor (pictured above) and the popular RTV900 all-terrain utility vehicle.
