Plans for Beef Expo 2009 have begun already with next year's venue being held on May 22 at the three Counties Showground, Malvern, Worcestershire.
The 2009 event will include extensive trade stand area, beef breed demonstrations, educational and advisory exhibits, practical demonstrations and a comprehensive seminar programme. There will also be opportunity to visit several Marches beef farms.
The Three Counties showground is ideally situated with easy access off the M5 motorway says event organiser Euan Emslie.
"A local organising committee will be appointed shortly by the National Beef Association who will be looking for ways to make Beef Expo more relevant and worthwhile for beef producers."
The Three Counties Agricultural Society is delighted to be hosting the national beef event, says Nick Vincent, chief executive of Three Counties Agricultural Society.
"The event fits in with our objectives to promote interest and improvement of agriculture, horticulture and livestock breeding."
