Producers can now medicate drinking water at higher pressures after the launch of the Select-G5 system by Dosing Solutions.
Dosing birds via drinking water peristaltic pump technology is now well established, but until now, the company's Select Doser has only been suitable for low water pressure systems.
The Select-G5 can dose into water line pressures of 100psi (6.9bar) while still retaining the advantages of precision, zero product contact and ease of use. Where higher water line pressures are necessary for distribution, the Select-G5 can dose the full range of additives - hydrogen peroxide, chlorine, acids, medications, vaccines and nutritional products all without damage to the pump.
