Farmers looking to improve mastitis detection can win
one of 10 4Q Electronic Mastitis Detectors each worth
£295.
The Cepravin DC competition, run by
Intervet/Schering-Plough,
is free to enter and requires answering a few simple
mastitis-related questions.
The hand-held devices can quickly and easily detect signs of
sub-clinical mastitis or independent clinical mastitis. That allows
the appropriate treatment to be put in place before the infection
can have a significant impact on the health of the animal and milk
yield.
