Lancashire companyQuickfencerhad a new version of its fencing machine.
The Quickfencer Standard 80 now unrolls and tensions two strands
of barbed wire, as well as doing the same for sheep netting, using
a nifty catch and release system. Operators use a bar to apply the
final tension, meaning the process is a lot safer.
To increase throughput, the company has made available 2000m
rolls of 2mm high tensile barbed wire, too. The whole set-up costs
£2200.
