After posting my choice for the best tractor (8210turbo) we found yesterday that the block had gone porous, due to the hrs it looks like it  maybe the end for it, although i'm trying to buy it to keep as a big toy lol, .The reason for this post is the boss has been offered a ford 8670 at the right money with very low hrs etc, what are peoples experiences of these as i personally have never seen one let alone driven one. Just wanted to ask while i'm typing does anybody still use a MF 699 , i learned to plough with one of those many years ago but not seen any for years(in the flesh or magazines) see lots of 698 and 698t's in the collectors mags but never a 699, personally loved that old tractor despite the boss hating it with a passion
