Hi, my name's Ellie and I'm 18 years old. I'm currently at uni studying an arts subject but it's my ambition to one day be a farmer. I really, really, really want to do this but no-one takes me seriously! Mainly that's because I know not much about it. So PLEASE, any advice or help, tips, warnings, or just an idea of how on earth I am supposed to get into farming when I have no experience would be GREAT! Thank you!!!

Maybe try and get experience 1st hand on a farm or whatever when you are on holiday from uni. Seasonal work is often advertised in FW so maybe have a look in there!

Defra (i cant beleive i am saying this) is a good (about the only thing they are good at) website as they give lots of info and also the NFUgives if too.
