Have seen a start on the Barley here in Dorset, but rain has stopped play (surprise surprise!)
But who is going to come up with the first pics?
Theres some light land round Bury St Eds so im not surprised!!

still not sure if Harper Adams students are up to the Old Seale Hayne standard for consuming beer!!!
If any Harper Students read that - they will take it as a challenge. You've just increased your bar bill by 20%....
Combines were running in Ambridge, Borcetshire last week
Yes, but not in the right field...acording to Brian.
Here in, East Scotland, I expect the oilseed to be swathed round about 24th July, and combines to start winter barley a few days later. My own winter barley will probably be started in the first week of August. My combine is run at least once a month so it is more or less ready to go.
Just in case! the picture on Facebook of one young man, head deep into the sink, was not that of a Harper Student!!!!!!
They were looking on supping their beer.
Us old Seale Haynians of 30yrs ago had retired for coffee to the kitchen
