Hi all,
Have a 2007 model of the above. Was operating on steep ground, just changed into reverse to go back up the hill when she cut out. Thought it may be that she was low in diesel so rolled her down to level ground and topped up. No start, turned over fine but no fire so I cracked the injectors and bleed her using the hand primer. Still no start! Any ideas???
Did aney smoke come out of the exhaust after youd primed it? if not theres probubley still air in the lines somwere get some one to sit in the cab and crank here over with another persone on the hand primer that should do it if not well.
Cheers Canadean,
Also should I rip all injectors or just one?
This may be a stupid question, but have you bled the injector pump as well?
Do you have a manual for the tractor? This should have the specific bleeding proceedure for tha engine as they can vary from machine to machine.
Yes, Have the manual, it details everything except how to bleed it. Does say a couple of times not to run out of fuel or you will have to bleed it!
Will chance it again tomorrow.
This tractor does not have a conventional injection pump
to bleed the system look on the left hand side of the engine near the cab you will find a banjo bolt with pipe leading back to the fuel tank. This bolt usally has a deep head. Loosen the bolt pump the hand primer and diesel or air should appear. pump until the fuel runs and tighten up bolt engine should start
