   1) What do people think of the Ford TW25 (160hp) ???!

We are seriously thinking of buyin one now! :D your thoughts and experiences (good/bad) WILL be much appreciated! Cheers! :D

Anyway on the subject of farming, again, has anyone got 1st cut in??! It may sound a real stupid question but our neighbour has risked it and mowed 50a yesterday like. when i happend to get home and get the cows in from the fireld (at last) i went over to hav a look and its bone dry nearly. Extremely good condition, I guess it will have excellent feed value! Anyway he's baled it today so i will nip round later and help him shift it! :D

Best go now, teacher approaching! :P

Still got one in the shed. Shes on an H, Very good order,done 7500hrs, been blummin good as far as I can remember. Had new rings and so on due to wear and tear but never been let down by her. Havent got syncromesh so she can be a bit crunchy on the gear change if ur an amature driver but they dont half pull well- far better than the newer newhollands.  

But they are very simple, reliable, what more can you ask from a tractor? Probably making good money these days-if there not they should be.

Right! here i am again in my IT class writing on here! :D We ended up leaving the TW25 as we decided there would be too many probs and cause too many probs, not what we need! :D Anyway, what would you suggest as the best 'road going' tractor for example:

1) Carting silo/ bales

2) Slurrying

I know its not plainly road going but mowin etc etc.

 We were wondering about the Fast trac! Any comments on this would be greatly appreciated:D

After owning over 50 fords and NH's personally i regard the Tw's as some of the best . I still have a TW 20 that in 10'000 hrs has had no more than 1 set of injectors /1 clutch and a hyd pump...?

I have a Jd 4450 which will be changed for a late TW15 super Q when i find one close enough ...?

I won't buy a "25" because of the long nose (We do a lot of row crop work) The "20" is probably the best practor i've ever owned "Reliability wise" (Including new ones)...?

 How much fuel does your TW 20 use on heavy work / day.

I've never worked it out but probably would'nt want to ..

With our big trailed kit and flat land powershift is not needed so she still out grunt's the TM150 .I;m not concerned about fuel...Given the acres she covers ...(Trouble free) .

I've got much newer and more efficient tractors that cost way more in repairs...

Although for fuel i have to give the vote to "Big ones" (Cummins L10 /855/N14)Our 300hp bracket tractors use less than 2x 150 size tractors to cover same acres..?
