    Gordon Brown/Hilary benn`s good housekeeping guide !

so there you have it, Mr brown is telling us all how to suck eggs, we must be more carefull about what we buy and waste.

This coming from the twat who sold this countries gold reserves at an all time low price

the same twat who spent 100`s of thousands of yours and my money to wallpaepr and decorate no11 downing street, the sooner he buggers off back to scotland the better.

and as for benn, well he is the son of the next best thing to a commie, you did not expect him to side with a bunch of yokels did you ?

If anyone has any out of date eggs to dispose of, don't throw them away, put them to good use on the traditional targets - unpopular politicians.

I am not so sure that Gordon Brown has the courage to return to Scotland in full political guise. As much as I would like to see you English rid of this "twat", I would rather he continued his MacCavity guise with regard to Scotland.

It seems rather ironic that Mrs Thatcher all but ruined the Consevatives in Scotland and Mr Brown is going to almost ruin the Labourites in Scotland.

As for Hilary Benn; well at least his father managed to stay in politics for about forty years to achieve nothing, where Hilary will be lucky to stay in politics for two years and achieve nothing.

So! Gordon Brown tells us to, "eat all the food on our plates so as not to waste any." His appearance suggests that he leads by example in this regard at least.

Apparently Brown is scared to come back to his own constituancy to watch the local football team,Raith Rovers. He is afraid of the fans reaction to him, despite this being a rock solid Labour heartland seat for generations.

As for Hilary.....We all knew what kind of farming minister he would make.Thank goodness we have Richard Lochead, who is at least supportive of and interested in Scottish agriculture, rather than Benn who is a nincompoop.

Can I just make a plea for the language to be toned down a bit. Some people find these kinds of terms offensive.

    Thanks Geeked

tone down, I think you will find this is always a rational well manered debate on many issues via these forums, the fact we are all using such vile words as twat is symtomatic of the frustration and suffering that we find ourselves in due to incompetance, I apologies not incompetance because there is veidence to suggest that this government are prepared to go to great lengths to put farmers down (metaphorically speaking), that is why the government have had meetings with the main supermarkets and advised that their buyers force the price down when dealing with suppliers, that means us, so if you think Isa that this needs toning down its a bloody good job you can not hear what we are calling these people in our own homes !, and it don`t begin with T cause there ani`nt a word good enough to describe them that begins with T

oh, and the other thing most of us I suggest find a dam site more offensive than a few 4 letter words is someone telling us how to shop and eat and not waste when he sits and eats umpteen courses at this G8 meeting,  what a hypocrite

I know there are far choicer words being used about him. I'm just conscious that these forums are open to all - including children - so language is best avoided. Sorry if I sound like a nag - I thought I'd raise it before someone complained. Big Smile

I must confess I had to use my dictionary on this one to find the problem, so sorry from me as well, Isabel. Who said "Ignorance is bliss"?

Re: Gordon Brown/Hilary benn`s good housekeeping guide !

There's no point in criticising Brown: he's been clinically bonkers in my opinion for the last couple of years -  a bit like Thatcher in her last years.  Nobody sane likes Mugabe, but I point out that Mugabe has a much higher proportion of his country's votes than Brown, and Brown has been responsible for a lot more premature deaths, given the millions of delayed retirements caused by his personal pension tax grab.  They both hate white farmers of course.

On a slightly more serious note, food waste is immoral, so when are we going to go back to allowing food scraps to be fed to pigs again.  It did NOT cause F&M, and the whole process is very safe if everything is boiled.  Is it legal to feed waste politicians to pigs?
