    Latest British Sugar Contract Offer.

Just received an email from British Sugar about their latest miserable price offer!

Option 1 or Option 2, only if you return your contract early.

When are these double-dealing hustlers going to offer the farmer a fair price that reflects the true value of this crop?

The ammount of Beet that I am considering growing next year is reducing by the week.  Do I really want to beholden to these wide-boys?

OR - Is this latest offer a sign of desperation?

70% are requesting more quoter,so THREE forms have been returned.

I will return mine when they link the price to fuel cost,in the mean time i may contract more acres away from beet tomorrow at cereals,as there are good offers on the table, sorry BS but i will be loseing a far bit this year with costs way above budget and yeild looking poor, and some replanted to potatoes.

    JOHN.
