Here at FW we'll be talking to the supermarkets to see what impact this outbreak of bird flu is having on consumer demand for poultry products. But I thought it was worth asking what impact it is having at a grassroots level. I know there is some concern that people who rear turkeys for the Christmas order may find their buyers/butchers scale back their order leaving them with a problem. Is this happening yet or are buyers being sensible about this whole thing?
