    NH TS115 - Rough Ride

Is it just me, or does the TS115 have one of the most uncomfortable ride around? With the additional factory fitted turbo, whether your driving on the road with no weight on the back, or hauling a silage across a field, you just get throwed up and down, making it difficult to stay in the seat, (And not at ridiculous speeds)>

Any one else drive a TS115?

I can't complain to much about it really, the 115 even goes over the bloomin speed bumps fairly well.

just to come back to this, today i went ploughing, I was in the 115 and had a friend in a much newer 110, and i stormed off and left him on an old very rough track, and the 115 was fantastic. (although oil then spirted out like hell when we bought it back, but thats because my friend was driving it, and it was a metal pipe that had a missing bracket, it had rubbed and then made a great hole).

Dont mean to be blunt but TS's are *** and uncomfatable to drive full stop!!  Crap seats, crap gear box, noisey and whiney!! I had a few hours bed-tilling on one the other day and i felt well and truly pist off by the time i had finished!!

Can i just add that i am new holland owner!! TM115 though, rather than the TS!!

    I total agree...

I  wonder weather its got anything to do with the cab being directly connected to the cab with two pins? Thus meaning that any bumb, just shakes the cab, and there arent even rubber mounts.

When ive had a 10 tonne trailer on, it just bounces all the way!

new ts's are fine though, from 2 years ago, their adequatly quiet, comfortable, and not too bad to drive.

ok, I've now got back ache from doing 80 miles in the ts 115.... it was like having rampent sex, with out the fun. the tractor just learched all the time.... I rekon, it's too light on the front, I'm going to stick a load of water in the front tyres in the next few days, might be worth a try.

80 miles? where were you going???

We've got a full set of weights on the front of are ts115, and it some cases it makes it even more bouncy! I also rekon they've got crap seats in them, instead of softly compensating the bumbs, it rocks back and forth?

well I was delievering hired trailers back to the dealer, in chitchester, they were trailers for tractor and trailer rides, had to take a trailer with a ts90, so 80 miles in that, and then one with the ts115. so did 160 miles that day in a tractor.

Suely the economics of that it would have been cheaper to get a low loader in!?

How long did that take you?

No-one knows what I do until I stop doing it!

we had 8 trailers,  5 were long, 3 were short. we doubled up the 3 short on 3 long, so had 3 tractors pulling 6 trailers, then I took two long trailers and did two trips. 2 hours to get there, 2 hours back.

Re: NH TS115 - Rough Ride

Been a ford man all my life but have to say "Why do people like TS's" Rough ride/ light on the front/Bounce on the road/Tin work falls apart. We had many turbo's and pulled excellent but too much hp for the size /Could pull a 6 furrow semi mount but picked the nose up with a good 4 furrow mounted.Hammered around with 12 ton trailers but just too light .....Lots of niggling bugs that 40/60 series never had ..? Maybe just our few but not one i would put in the "Hall of fame"..?
