I'd go for a Mchale Fusion 2. I've used a Fusion and its very good, easy to use and I think the improvments they have made make the Fusion 2 near perfect!

From what i have read they sound and look the best. The only thing that worries me with these combos is what happens if you eject a bale that isnt right?? Once its on the ground there is no way of picking it back up again??

Do you actually own or operate one of these???

we have had a 678 JD combi for 3 seasons 10000 bales a season, just the usual problems like bearings (just 2 though) and the wrapper belts wearing out otherwise a good unit

    Re: BEST COMBI-WRAPPER?

Hi there, Dan here! The best combi-wrapper...hmmmm. Well i cant really say much as i am only 16 like but we run a McHale Fusion 2. A FANTASTIC machine all round. Before this we had a vicon combi and all we had from this is trouble, bearings, blockages, breakages...the list is endless. We bought the McHale and all we have had from this is complete purrring (runs like a dream) its quiet, tidy, easly manouvered, good travelling, easy to unblock (dont even have to get out from the tractor! :D, bearings are perfect. I really can't say a bad word about it. It will run all day. We had it running this year to do its first season. Asolutly perfect, if you have the money! :P thats the bad bit i guess... slight expense but i guess we wouldn't of bought it if we were going to loose money! :D

Well i hope this helps ?!?!?!

     Cheers,

               Dan
