me and emma had a arguement about when does a small holding become a farm a while back and i still debate this i say after 100 acres it should be classed as a small farm but emma doesnt agree

no utryed to tell me u dont have a holding number u clearly do ! so i said u wernt even a farmer lol cos u didnt have a number u must b a smallholder

Well it's more if it's a business, if your on it to make a living, and the kind of person really.... 100 acres sounds about rightt, not that you could really live off that amount today.

an person or family owning an smallholding,consists of 10 acres. And on that farm, they will have some sheep, chickens geese, goats and hrm few pigs and childrens ponies and the odd cow and calf, they will also have the holding and herd number.

you find its owned by townie people trying to impress their farming folk they can farm like the big boys
