I have been lurking around the forum for a week or two now but have'nt made any post yet so i thought i'd better introduce myself.

I am a seventeen year old farmers daughter from north Cumbria. I am currently a student studying animal care and im not sure what i want to do when my course ends yet.

My dad and uncle run a beef farm - though they do get lambs in to fatten up over winter (mainly cheviots but sometimes a few texels).I prefer sheep to cows event though they are always either escaping or dying... We have about twenty five hens (the proper free range kind that get to wander where ever they want around the meadow/yard/cowshed/garden etc) and a few ducks that we use to supply the neighbours with eggs.

Cant think of much else to say about myself at the mo, but you will probably be hearing more from me around here
