    Chilton Loaders - any good?

Chillton MX95.5 Utility Loader - I'm being offered a new one of these, fitted to a 4wd tractor, sold brand new.

Any concerns, are they any good? Anything at all would be appreciated.

    regards,

They are French made Mailleux loaders, millions of them here and they have a very good reputation. Generally easy to put on and take off (so you are really able to do it!)

I have an ancient one that's still going strong.

Check the price, they used to be relatively dear but you generally get what you pay for.

    Bon courage,

    JC.

Got an MX100, used to have a quickie but would bever go back . Better built and far easier to take on and off. Sorry don't know about the model you mention but from my exoerience they're the best.

Have an MX150 Chillton loader , fantastic piece of kit . Hitch on/off in less than 1 minute , well built with excellent lift capacity and reach. PCH self levelling rams definately worth having , along with MACH single docking hydraulic connector. Had no real problems and would definately buy the same make when changing the loader tractor.

got to agree, these loaders are excellent. i use to work for a renault dealership selling these, we sold a lot to stock farmers and our cornish stock boys could hammer them and they never gave up. Also removal is quick and easy especially with that mach coupler. One bad point though, tractors fitted with removable side panels like that of renaults and mf will be awkward to lift these up,out and clear while trying not to scratch the paintwork with the brackets!

    live it love it!!
