Has anybody had any experiance using a He-Va combi lift subsoiler with a He-Va disc roller mounted on the back just wondered how this machine would cope with trash and also the finish the packer leaves would be looking to use the machine as a one pass cultivation to get land ready for osr and wheat

ive used a spaldings flat lift with a roller on the back. it copes pretty well with trash. need something more though to prepare the ground ready for cropping though. what exactly depends on what you already have.

 

At the moment we are using a quivogne tine master without a press on it and then going through it a couple of days later with a simba uni press but we a trying to find something that will do it in one pass on fairly heavy land

Sumo Trio.

Choice of drill is more important than cultivator IMHO, but Sumo Trio is the one to look at. Dont buy a new machine without demoing one. 

have seen a sumo trio going in scotland.super job with a great finish.the rear roller is the mutts nuts.it is followed by powerharrow/airdrill.

have been trying to get a sumo and he va on demo but dealers seem to have sold there demo machines i do like the look of the he va but not to sure about the finish of the packer and how it would cope in a wet year i think that it is same packer as fitted to there subsoilers
