    RADIOOOOOOOOOOOO

Which radio station do you have banging out when your bombing it in the old tractor then ? Got to be radio1 hasn't it, or have we got some Archers fans?

And on a lower note, has anyone else found tractor arerials always break and so your arial is made up of a bit of old steel wire bolted to the remainder of the broken areial?

This has been covered before but i suppose there's still the question to ask between preference to local or national radio?? My local radio just seems to be plugged with adverts every 5 minutes and plays the same songs over and over.

I find radio1 gets a bit boring day in day out......tend to switch between radio1, radio2 and the local one. I like jeremy vines debates he has, particularly seeing as there is a rise in the number of subjects he's covering in the agricultural sector.

     Failing that its the ipod!

    Re: RADIOOOOOOOOOOOO

Well, i have now came round to smooth FM, they seem ok now - its really old fokie music, but bombing along the country lanes, its ok. Metro (dont knw if any of you's will get that) but thats good, galaxy is okies, if you like music with ritsey beats. I cant stand anything classical, the lambing shed, we had some tosh on whcih was classical FM or something and basically, it drove me insane - had to revert to the ipod which is the best option i always reckon!

If all else fails, sing to youself (not that i do that Huh?)  !

    Re: RADIOOOOOOOOOOOO

being a radiostar masen its got to be BRMB (birminghams radio) not that im bragging Cool like but once i sent a text into the morning show around november and next thing i know 2 or 3 times a week the producer would ring me up and ask me to go on air, sometimes with an aka and help them out till about a month ago when i joked with the producer (mark) that it would be cheaper to employ me than ring me all the time...that was the end of that! DOH! Sad

as for radio1 i just dont get it, moyles is up his own ass, comedey dave should be renamed as lackof comemdy, edith is a joke, tonge is like jimmy saville on drugs, jo whiley is ok but the music is too rnb, hip hop dance ect, it was good when zoe ball was there with simon mayo after, and the funniest pair of Djs ever Mark and Lard! Brazen as you like! Fat Harry White was the funniest thing ever! Wish they would reunite!

But as my music taste is more rock i do like kerrang but they have just changed all the presenters and it seems like they are in self destruct mode with them, just the music is good! Sermon over!

I'm with you there Bonehead - I can't stand it. I don't suppose I can really join in with this conversation seeing as I don't have a tractor, but here in Farmers Weekly Towers I like to listen to Xfm when I get the chance - it helps me write better stories Wink

Always used to be radio 1, but either as I get older I am finding it more and more annoying. Going ove rto R2 or R4, as well as the rock on my ipod.
No-one knows what I do until I stop doing it!

    Re: RADIOOOOOOOOOOOO

Had a call from the BRMB breakfast show the other day, couldnt believe it they wanted to come and do their show live from our farm, the presenters would come help us with our driving ect whilst live on air! But we couldnt do it as we were too busy Sad so i will just have to keep our claim to fame as being on the BBC Gardners World 2006 Christmas special on parsnips...Cool  Pitt, Cruise Who???

    Re: RADIOOOOOOOOOOOO

i love listening to kiss fm and occasionally capital fm.

my mother loves listening to radio 2 but on the sundays we give it a miss as we aren't classical lovers.
