    With eggs, there is a good reason to buy British. Lion Quality eggs come from UK flocks that have been vaccinated against salmonella, so are salmonella free. It is the only scheme in Europe and in a recent EU survey, salmonella was found to be more prevelant in eggs from other countries, especially Spain...
