Bale feeder is easy to tow
New Zealand-made Bale Feeder can be towed by tractors, pick-ups or quad bikes (in the latter case minimising damage to fields or gateways. It has independent oscillating tandem wheels and low-pressure tyres and is said to be stable and easy to tow.

Vicon launches new big square baler range
Two new big square balers now join the line-up of balers available from Vicon. The LB1270 and the LB1290, are claimed to offer more capacity and produce bales with greater density, when compared with the LB 12200 and LB 12290 balers they now replace.

Case shows new round balers
Case IH's latest Polish-made round balers, the RBX344, RBX454 and RBX464, will get their first UK showing at the Grassland and Muck 2008 event on 21 and 22 May at Stoneleigh. The fixed-chamber RBX344 has a high-torque driveline clutch to allow the baler to travel at high speeds without blocking, while the RBX454 and RBX464 variable-chamber balers offer 1.5m and 1.8 m bale diameters respectively.
