John Deere Tractor Range

Major changes among the mid- to top-end of the range have seen the introduction of two all-new series – the 6R spanning 116hp to 249hp with a full line-up of four- and six-cylinder models replacing the 6030 Series; and the equally new 7R line-up from 220hp to 310hp, which takes over from the 7030 and 7030 Premium models.

Both new series offer a choice of infinitely variable AutoPowr and semi-powershift transmissions, with the new PowerQuad / AutoQuad gearbox having electronic control integrated with the engine for greater productivity and more fuel efficiency.

‘Single fluid’ engines using combustion management to deal with NOx emissions and filtration for particulates meet the latest emissions rules, there are new four-post cabs, integrated front pto and linkage options for the first time, taller tyre options and increased hydraulic flow and take-out capacity.

Revised 8R and 8RT ranges have increased power outputs and a new front linkage installation for the wheeled machines.

Also, the big 9R articulated four-wheel drive and 9RT tracked machines have become available, spanning 451hp to 616hp to replace the 9030 and 9030RT line-up.

Prices updated March 2012.
