(Sunday): Eastern and central England will be cloudy at times during the morning with the chance of a few heavy showers. Sunny spells will become more widespread during the afternoon, with showers tending to die away. Wales and western England will have sunny spells and a few heavy showers during the morning. More frequent, thundery showers in the south-west later with brisk winds. A less warm day. Scotland will have spells of sunshine, but also the odd sharp shower. Northern Ireland will be increasingly cloudy with heavy, thundery showers.
(Sunday night): Much of central and eastern England will remain dry throughout the night with clear spells, but there is just the chance of the odd shower in places later. Wales and western England will have scattered showers, some heavy with the chance of thunder, especially during the early hours. Scotland will be mostly dry for a time, but showers will affect the south-west later, with the odd shower possible elsewhere too. Northern Ireland will have scattered showers, tending to ease later.
(Monday and Tuesday): Becoming cooler over the coming days, especially across northern parts of the UK. It will be very unsettled on Monday with the chance of heavy, thundery showers for most places. Windy across southern and western areas too. Breezy with heavy showers on Tuesday, the showers most frequent in northern England and becoming heavy and thundery at times.
