(Friday): Scotland and Northern Ireland, blustery with sun and showers, the showers mainly in western Scotland. Fine and mild across most of England and Wales, but damp, misty weather by the south coast will edge north into other southern areas later bringing evening rain.
(Friday night): There will be a scattering light showers in north-west Scotland. Elsewhere in Scotland, dry with mainly clear skies for a time but then turning cloudy during the early hours. Southern part of England and Wales will have a wet evening with outbreaks of rain and drizzle, this turning heavy at times overnight. Elsewhere, cloudy and dry for a time. Then turning wet with rain moving in from the south.
(Saturday and Sunday): Saturday, it will be a dry start for Scotland with patches of mist and fog clearing. Then turning cloudy with rain in southern areas of Scotland. Elsewhere, it is going to be a rather dull and cloudy day with outbreaks of heavy rain turning showery during the afternoon. A small risk of thunder. Windy for Wales and the southern half of England. On Sunday, northern areas of England and Wales will have a damp and cloudy day with patchy rain and drizzle. Scotland will see rain easing to showers. Elsewhere, sunny spells and a scattering of showers. It is going to be a windy day for England and Wales.
