We are working every day to better understand and address the real-world challenges faced by those who raise and care for animals in ways they find truly relevant.

Our name, Zoetis, (zo-EH-tis) has its root in zo, familiar in words such as zoo and zoology and derived from zoetic, meaning “pertaining to life. It signals our dedication to supporting the veterinarians and livestock producers everywhere who raise and care for farm animals on which we all depend.

Our broad portfolio of preventative medicines help protect against a wide range of diseases including bovine respiratory disease (more commonly known as Pneumonia), infectious diseases and parasites.

Zoetis strives to help our customers continually increase their business productivity and sustain long-term success. We work every day to provide customers with quality products and services, in-depth technical and disease education and a commitment to their businesses.

Zoetis is comprised of animal health, scientific and business experts who collaborate with universities, companies, research institutes and veterinary hospitals around the world. We understand that partnerships are essential to driving growth and delivering greater added value for our customers. For example, Zoetis and The Roslin Institute at The University of Edinburgh recently began collaboration. Together, we are exploring new ways to reduce the prevalence of Salmonella in meat.
