The road legal Can-Am Traxter HD8 with T1B homologation has been developed to meet PUWER guidelines for agricultural vehicles.
In addition, it is also compliant with the EU emissions regulations as well as the new vehicle construction, environmental and propulsion unit performance, vehicle braking and functional safety requirements, which came into force on 1 January 2016. (T1B and T3 homologation).
It is powered by Rotax’s 50-hp HD8 engine, which has been designed to offer the user the right amount of torque, performance and power when riding trails or towing and hauling goods.
The Traxter HD8 comes with selectable 2WD/4WD with Visco-Lok auto-locking front and rear differential for effective traction and grip on rugged terrain, and an electronic hill descent control for driving assistance.
It is also equipped with PRO-TORQ Transmission and heavy-duty Torsional Trailing A-arms (TTA-HD) rear suspension, which has been specifically created to enhance low speed riding, providing a smoother and more responsive power delivery.
