Tickets for this year’s Cereals event go on sale tomorrow (1 April) and anyone buying in advance will be able to save on the gate price.

The event at Heath Farm, Leadenham, Lincolnshire, on 11-12 June is the UK’s leading technical arable event and brings together more than 22,500 farmers and industry experts with over 365 suppliers across the 64ha site.

Highlights this year include Arable Outlook, a new feature dedicated to renewable energy, biofuel and non-food crops; 10 ha of working machinery demonstrations; crop plots, and the Sprays and Sprayers arena where you can see the latest spraying equipment in action.

The ‘HSBC Investing in the Future Forums’ should also provide some thought-provoking debate and help visitors make informed strategic and investment decisions for their future.

“We firmly believe that specialist business-to-business events like Cereals have an increasing role within the industry,” said Martin Coward from principal sponsor, HSBC.

“This year’s Cereals event comes at a very opportune moment. Rising cereal prices, falling interest rates, reducing world stocks and weakening sterling all bode well for those growing and selling arable crops, although difficulties are presented for those using cereals as a main input.”

Attendees to Cereals 2008 will earn four NRoSO Continuing Professional Development (CPD) or BASIS points for attending either day. Tickets can be purchased in advance from 1 April 2008 at a discounted rate via the official website.

The Cereals website also has information about exhibitors, what to see and how to get there. You can stay up to speed with all the latest Cereals news in the build-up and live from the event with FWi’s Cereals 2008 coverage.
