First-time Opico displays for grain dryer and cultivator

On display for the first time on the Opico stand (L1314) at the Cereals Event, will be the new HE-VA Synchro Roller, designed to improve germination and establishment in till-seeded oilseed rape crops, and the new Magna 120 E economy grain dryer.

Being launched at the event, is a new 2.5m wide model of the Combi-lift and disc roller, designed to loosen the lower soil structure while incorporating surface residues all in the same pass. This smallest model in the Combi-lift range is aimed for use with 150-170hp tractors.

Visitors to the Opico stand will be able to see how the Synchro Roller integrates into an oilseed rape till-feeding system consisting of a HE-VA subsoiler, Variocast seeder, and Nitrojet liquid fertiliser. They can find out how providing fertiliser at seeding using the Nitrojet will improve oilseed rape establishment and can boost yields and/or save money. Establishment can be further improved with the new Synchro Roller, which consolidates only the band-seeded areas of the ground, improving moisture availability to the OSR seed.

The new Magna 120 E recirculating batch dryer has a 12t holding capacity and is geared towards the grain drying requirements and budgets of smaller arable farms. It is a base specification model which offers a 5t-an-hour drying capacity at a cost of just £28,111 + VAT.
