Scots crop protection company announces merger

Perth-based CSC Crop Protection has announced it is to merge with Crop Chemicals of East Lothian, with effect from the end of January 2007.

CSC said the move will make the joint operation the “pre-eminent” contract and agronomy group in Scotland and north of England.

Employees of Crop Chemicals will continue in their present roles and will help develop a wider range of products and services. Trevor Dodds will become regional sales manager Lothian & Borders.

Jim Rennie will continue to manage Crop Chemicals, Drem, and will become a Director of CSC and head of CSC Crop Care and Potato Care.
