Cereals 2009 exhibitor

Limagrain, via agent Nickerson Direct, will launch nine new crop varieties, seven of which are HGCA Recommended Lists candidates.

They include winter wheats Edmunds and Invicta, both potential Nabim Group 3 types, and Benchmark and Mirage spring barleys, both potential malting varieties.

Also vying for an RL place on the winter oilseed rape list are Abelia and Angelina, both conventional types, and Alessio, a restored hybrid.

Two new pulses will also be demonstrated – Aviso, a white pea, and the spring bean variety Pyramid.

Altogether the visitors will be able to view 54 demonstration plots of combinable crop and sugar beet varieties.
