The NFU is reminding farmers that if they have views on the idea of prior notification before spraying they should send them in by email.

The union has set up a dedicated email address to enable farmers to voice their opinions on the idea of introducing a voluntary prior notification scheme. It has been suggested that such a scheme might involve farmers texting neighbouring houses before they go spraying.
