Versatile livestock holding in Cornwall

Friday 04 May 2012 16:05

Trewanta Hall Farm at Lewannick in Cornwall comes to the market for the first time in 50 years as a result of retirement.

The holding is seven miles south west of Launceston and offers 81ha (200 acres) of level and gently sloping grade 3 pasture land, a five-bedroom Grade II* listed farmhouse and a two-bedroom bungalow.

Trewanta Hall Farm has been farmed by the current owners since they bought it in 1959 and is for sale as a whole or in four lots, with an overall guide price of £2.2m through D R Kivell & Partners.

The first and main lot includes the farmhouse with the bungalow and a former cottage, a large traditional barn with potential for alternative use or conversion and a range of livestock buildings with 125 acres of land.

The large range of buildings is mainly livestock housing but includes good general purpose buildings, some of which are suitable for grain storage.

The remaining lots are all bare pasture of varying sizes: 33.5 acres, 29 acres and 9.5 acres, all well fenced with road frontage and mains water. (D R Kivell and Partners 01822 810 810)
