2012 Farmers Weekly Awards ceremony begins

The 2012 Farmers Weekly Awards party has kicked off with a champagne reception at Grosvenor House Hotel in London’s Park Lane.

Our awards finalists will join some of the biggest names in farming to find out in just a few hours who has won each of the categories and who has been awarded the highest accolade of Farmer of the Year.

With more people attending the awards night than ever before, it is a testament to the commitment and hard work of the farming community.

This past year farmers have faced extreme weather conditions, volatile markets and high input costs, but this has not deterred many wonderful farming businesses from coming forward to compete.
