Tillage-Live: Sulky Xeos drill front hopper gets UK show debut

Sulky Xeos drill

Sulky's new Xeos front hopper hasn't been seen at a UK demo until now, but should be of interest to those who prefer the balance of a front-rear cultivator/drill set-up rather than putting all the weight on the back.

Front hoppers of 1,000 and 1,800 litres are available, with or without a set of packer tyres and there's a choice at the rear of cultivator drills from 3m to 5m with either coulters or discs.

Many of the components are made of stainless steel, says the company, and lcd lights on the front of the hopper mean it's fully road-legal. The metering also stops automatically as soon as the front linkage is lifted.
