It seems that there are now rubber track systems to fit virtually anything.

US-built Mattracks are now being imported to the UK by Glasgow-based Supatracks.

Apparently suitable for vehicles from ATVs to 4x4s and tractors up to 100hp, Mattracks can run on roads at up to 40mph.

The biggest can carry vehicles up to 9t and will reduce ground pressures down to below 1.5psi. They can even be fitted to trailers and sprayers.

A typical set fitted to a large ATV buggy will cost £3500.
